Keppel Singmarine gets S$103m LNGC order
KEPPEL Singmarine has won a contract valued at S$103 million to build two small-scale liquefied natural gas carriers (LNGC) for Stolt Nielsen Gas BV.
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine has also secured options from the same client to build three other similar LNGCs.
The options are due to be exercised by six, 12 and 18 months from the effective date of the contract.
Keppel Singmarine is expected to deliver the first pair of LNGCs to Stolt Nielsen in the second quarter and third quarter of 2019, respectively.
