A wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine has won contracts to build up to two dredgers valued at about S$120 million.

Keppel Singmarine secured the contracts from Codralux S.A to build a pair of trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHDs).

Including owner-furnished equipment, these dredgers are valued at about S$120 million.

The first of the two dredgers is expected to be completed by the second half of 2019.

Codralux S.A has a standing option with Keppel Singmarine for the construction of the second unit, which is due to be exercised within the next six months.
