Keppel T&T announces appointments
KEPPEL Telecommunications & Transportation (T&T) has appointed Tan Eng Hwa as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) while Desmond Gay Kah Meng will be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Keppel Logistics.
Ms Tan, who is currently general manager of group internal audit at Keppel Corporation, will assume the role of CFO from Jan 1 next year and will report to the CEO of Keppel T&T. She will oversee Keppel T&T's financial functions, including managing capital, finance, tax and investments. Ms Tan assumes the role from Ms Chan Shui Har, who will remain deputy CEO of Keppel T&T.
Thomas Pang Thieng Hwi, chief executive of Keppel T&T, said: "Bringing her wealth of experience as well as her proven track record in Keppel to the team, I am confident that Eng Hwa will be able to build on the strong foundations that Shui Har has set in place to help spur the company's growth."
Separately, Desmond Gay Kah Meng will be appointed as CEO of Keppel Logistics - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel T&T - from Dec 1. Reporting to Mr Pang, Mr Gay will spearhead Keppel T&T's efforts to grow its logistics business in the Asia-Pacific (excluding China).
Previously, Mr Gay was the chief executive of JGL Group, a third party logistics provider of integrated forwarding and logistics solutions.
