This came on the back of a 2.1 per cent rise in revenue to S$50.18 million from S$49.13 million one year ago.
Earnings per share (EPS) was up 17.2 per cent to 3.4 Singapore cents from 2.9 Singapore cents one year ago. The company did not declare any dividend for the period.
In the half-year period ended June 30, net profit was up 1.5 per cent to S$32.12 million from S$31.66 million one year ago. Revenue during the period was up 1.4 per cent to S$98.45 million, from S$97.06 million one year ago. EPS for the period was up 1.8 per cent to 5.8 Singapore cents from 5.7 cents one year ago.
A company spokesman said that revenue was up both in the second quarter and half year on account of higher revenue from the data centre division, which was partly offset by lower revenue from the logistics division.
