Keppel working its assets harder as it simplifies its business

CEO Loh Chin Hua highlights potential value to unlock from residential landbank and other monetisable assets in pivot to asset-light model

KEPPEL Corporation will focus, this year, on its asset monetisation programme and its "pivot towards an asset-light model", chief executive Loh Chin Hua said in the company's annual report that was published on Thursday (Mar 31).

Keppel will also further focus and simplify its business as part of its Vision 2030. "We see ourselves not as a conglomerate of diverse parts but as one integrated business providing solutions for sustainable urbanisation," said Loh.

The group will also continue to gravitate away from "lumpy earnings" towards recurring income.
