Key Noble investor sells notes

THE largest shareholder of Noble Group has sold certain senior notes, ahead of a shareholder vote today on the embattled commodities trader's restructuring, the board has said.
Noble Holdings Ltd (NHL), which holds 17.95 per cent of the company and is linked to founder Richard Elman, was understood to have tendered the 6.75 per cent senior notes due 2020 for sale on Aug 17, according to an announcement on Sunday.
