King Wan bags S$21m jobs

KING Wan Corporation secured four new mechanical and electrical contracts worth S$21 million from July to October this year.
The integrated building services company said on Monday that the new Singapore-based projects comprise plumbing and sanitary installations for Assisi Hospice; plumbing, sanitary and electrical systems installation for a 9,200-bed purpose-built Tuas workers' dormitory; and aircon and mechanical ventilation system installation at an office unit and a Leonie Hill Road condominium. The projects will commence within the next six months and are scheduled to be completed by 2016. King Wan's order book now stands at S$184.6 million, with contracts lasting to 2017. Said King Wan managing director Chua Eng Eng: "We shall continue to consolidate and grow the group's mechanical and electrical business and tap new business opportunities. King Wan's commitment to our brand promise of providing high quality and reliable mechanical and electrical solutions that will exceed our customers' expectations remains paramount."
