KKR to acquire Goodpack in a $1.4b deal
Affiliate of KKR is making an offer to shareholders at $2.50 per share
GLOBAL private equity firm KKR is acquiring Goodpack in a deal that values the local packaging logistics company at about $1.4 billion.
This comes after reports last week that KKR was nearing a deal to buy the Singapore-based company.
In an announcement to the Singapore Exchange yesterday, Goodpack said that an affiliate of KKR is making an offer for shares held by Goodpack's shareholders at $2.50 per share. The proposed acquisition will be by way of a scheme of arrangement.
