Korean fever fires up Spackman stock

HALLYU fever (Korean wave) hit the local bourse on Friday as investing fans of South Korean film producer Spackman Entertainment Group rallied behind the stock, flicking it higher by 17 per cent or 2.1 Singapore cents to finish at 14.3 Singapore cents.
Trading volumes on the counter came out tops, second only to Noble Group, with 169 million shares worth S$23 million done.
