KRISFLYER members can now redeem miles for vouchers to travel on budget carriers Scoot and Tigerair.
KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines' (SIA) frequent flyer programme. SIA wholly owns Scoot, and also has a near 56 per cent stake in Tiger Airways.
Aside from airfares, the vouchers can also be used to pay for selected items offered on the two budget carriers, such as ancillary products.
3,200 KrisFlyer miles can be redeemed for a S$30 voucher, while 5,300 and 10,500 KrisFlyer miles will be required for a S$50 and a S$100 voucher, respectively.
Later this year, KrisFlyer members will also have the option of earning miles when they fly Scoot and Tigerair.
