Last day of trading for Pegasus Asia’s warrants on Jan 12; warrants to expire on Jan 20
THE last day of trading for warrants of Pegasus Asia : PGS 0% is on Jan 12, with its warrants set to expire on Jan 20.
Trading in the warrants will be suspended with effect from 9 am on Jan 15, said Pegasus Asia in a bourse filing on Thursday (Jan 11).
Pegasus Asia was one of three special purpose acquisition companies (Spacs) to list on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in January 2022, alongside Novo Tellus Alpha Acquisition (NTAA) and Vertex Technology Acquisition Corporation.
On Dec 20, 2023, Pegasus said it would not conclude a business combination after considering market conditions and would wind up. Earlier on Thursday, NTAA similarly announced that it would not conclude a business combination and would dissolve.
Upon the expiry of Pegasus’ warrants on Jan 20, they will cease to be listed on SGX. Warrant holders can expect the expired warrants to be removed from their securities accounts on or about Jan 26, the Spac said.
It added that it is in the process of determining the amount available to holders of Class A ordinary shares, upon redemption by the Spac. It will make an announcement as soon as practicable on the next steps and expected dates on the redemption.

Units of Pegasus each comprise one share and 0.5 of a warrant.
Pegasus units closed at S$4.95 on Thursday, down S$0.02 or 0.4 per cent, before the announcement.
