Launch of Hong Kong offer sends China Everbright shares soaring 26%

MAINBOARD-listed China Everbright Water launched its public offer of some 104 million shares at between HK$2.99-4.35 (S$0.52-0.75) apiece on the Hong Kong exchange on Wednesday.
The news sent China Everbright Water shares in Singapore up 10 cents, or 25.6 per cent, at S$0.49.
