Lawsuit against Global Yellow Pages over service agreement termination struck out by court

GLOBAL Yellow Pages said on Tuesday the High Court has struck out a lawsuit commenced against the company and its unit Singapore River Explorer by Leisure Empire in 2015.
Leisure Empire had claimed S$150,000 in damages for the termination of a service agreement dated Dec 1, 2012, and S$50,000 a month in damages for the subsistence of the agreement. It also sought damages for loss of profits to be assessed.
Global Yellow Pages said the court had ruled for the lawsuit to be struck out in its entirety; that Leisure Empire pay costs to the company for the lawsuit on an indemnity basis; and that Leisure Empire pay costs to the company for the company's application to strike out the lawsuit on an indemnity basis.
Leisure Empire has up to June 13, 2016, to file its appeal against the orders made.
