THE chairman of Temasek International has been tipped to take over Singtel's board - but will also stay on in his roles at the management and investment arm of Singapore state investment firm Temasek Holdings.

Lee Theng Kiat, 66, was on Monday named chairman-designate of Singtel, where he will also be a non-executive, non-independent director, and is set to start on Jan 15, 2020.
