Singapore
PROMINENT economist Leong Wai Ho has moved from Barclays to hedge fund Graticule Asset Management Asia (GAMA) as its managing director of Asia economics, The Business Times has learnt.
His departure from the British bank after eight years there comes as it continues to pare its local operations. It has sold off its private wealth unit here to OCBC, and axed 71 employees in Singapore in January.
