COMMUNE may be in the business of selling furniture - an essential and traditional industry - but it hopes to shatter any glass ceiling to innovation by "investing in cutting-edge technology".

Already, the furniture retailer and subsidiary of Singapore-listed furniture maker Koda sells its products through e-commerce on its website.

On Friday, Commune introduced virtual reality (VR) and 3D-planning services at its retail stores to give customers that extra leg-up in their furniture shopping.
