Ley Choon wins $38.2m contract in Sri Lanka
Sewer pipe rehab deal lifts the company's order book to $181m
LEY Choon Group Holdings has clinched a $38.2 million sewer pipe rehabilitation contract in Sri Lanka, making the country its third overseas market after Brunei and China.
The Singapore-listed company, a one-stop service provider for underground utilities construction and road works, said yesterday that the contract is for the rehabilitation of 10 km of sewer lines and assessment of 125 km of sewer lines.
CEO Toh Choo Huat said: "Our technical expertise in sewer rehabilitation and trenchless micro tunnelling for pipe jacking is highly recognised as our core competency in bidding international projects."
