FOOD and beverage group LifeBrandz expects a hit to its revenue from the extended closure of its pub in Pattaya in Thailand.

The pub, called Mulligan, is located in a building where the management had originally ordered F&B establishments to be closed from July 20 until Aug 2. This was in line with pandemic restrictions announced by Thailand's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).

On Monday, however, Thailand's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) extended the closure till Aug 16.

LifeBrandz said in its filing: "The board would like to assure shareholders that steps are being taken to focus on operational excellence, tighten cost controls, conserve the group's cash flow and manage the working capital during this period." It will also continue to monitor sales and perform a strategic review of the business.

Shares of LifeBrandz closed at S$0.005 on Tuesday, up by S$0.001.
