Higher profits from development more than offset weaker showing by investment

HIGHER profits from development more than offset lower profits from investment at Low Keng Huat, giving the developer a sharp lift in its results for the second quarter.
Net profit jumped to S$4.2 million from S$474,000 in the same period last year, it said in a statement on Wednesday. For the three months ended July 31, revenue leapt 472 per cent to S$77.9 million.
