Lum Chang Creations subsidiary secures 2 contracts worth S$63.4 million

They are awarded by MSF and Orchard Road Presbyterian Church

    [SINGAPORE] Urban revitalisation specialist Lum Chang Creations on Monday (Nov 24) said its wholly owned subsidiary, Lum Chang Interior, clinched two contracts with a combined value of around S$63.4 million.

    The contract wins are awarded by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and Orchard Road Presbyterian Church.

    The larger of the two contracts, valued at about S$31.9 million, was awarded by the MSF for the proposed re-development of the Registries of Civil and Muslim Marriages Building at 7 Canning Rise.

    The 30-month contract commences on Dec 4, and is scheduled for completion by Jun 3, 2028.

    As for the private sector win, it is valued at about S$31.5 million. This concerns the proposed new erection of a five-storey Annex Block (Dunman Hall), with a basement, and additions, alterations and conservation works to the existing sanctuary at Orchard Road Presbyterian Church.

    It was awarded on Nov 20 and spans 24 months, with an expected completion date of Nov 20, 2027.

    Lim Thiam Hooi, managing director of Lum Chang Creations, said: “The S$63.4 million in new contracts ... provides clear revenue visibility extending into 2028.”

    Shares of Lum Chang Creations closed 1 per cent or S$0.005 lower at S$0.48 on Friday.
