M1's Q3 net profit up marginally to S$44.9m
M1 Ltd on Monday announced a marginal increase in net profit to S$44.9 million from S$44.5 million one year ago in its fiscal third quarter which ended on September 30, 2015. This came on the back of a 11 per cent increase in revenue to S$277.6 million from S$250.2 million one year ago. M1 did not declare a dividend for the quarter.
During the quarter, earnings per share (EPS) was at 4.8 Singapore cents, the same as in the one year ago quarter. Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) was up 2.6 per cent to S$86.6 million from 84.4 million one year ago.
For the nine months period ending September 30, net profit was up 2.8 per cent to S$134.9 million from S$131.2 million one year ago. Revenue was up 16.3 per cent to S$849.3 million from S$730 million the year before. EPS was 14.4 Singapore cents, up 1.9 per cent from 14.1 Singapore cents one year ago. Ebitda for the period was up 1.8 per cent to S$253.6 million from S$249.1 million one year ago.
