M1's Q4 net profit up 9.9%

M1 posted a 9.9 per cent increase in net profit to S$44.5 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2014.
Operating revenue for the same period stood at S$346.4 million, up 24.3 per cent from the same period a year ago.
For the full year, net profit was up by 9.7 per cent at S$175.8 million while operating revenue stood at S$1.08 billion, a 6.8 per cent increase.
Earnings per share for the group stood at 4.8 Singapore cents and 18.9 Singapore cents for the quarter and full year, respectively, up from 4.4 Singapore cents and 17.4 Singapore cents during the corresponding periods the year before. The group declared a final cash dividend of 11.9 Singapore cents per share, taking the full-year payout to 18.9 Singapore cents a share.
The group's counter closed four Singapore cents higher at S$3.62 on Monday before its earnings announcement was released.
