M1's remote monitoring solution launched for those looking after the elderly

TELECOMMUNICATIONS operator M1 on Wednesday launched an integrated smart-activity monitoring service designed for senior citizens who live independently and have caregivers who can use the system to keep an eye on their well-being.

The telco has partnered with activity-monitoring solution providers to come up with the service, which gives caregivers access to real-time information on the senior citizen's activity at home through a desktop computer or an Internet browser.
