MALAYSIAN Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has stepped into the boardroom fray of state-owned Felda Global Ventures Holdings (FGV) Bhd following the controversial suspension of its group president and chief executive Zakaria Arshad, who has refused to go quietly but upped the ante by urging the agency to probe the company, particularly its procurement.
According to media reports, Mr Zakaria arrived alone on Wednesday afternoon at the agency's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, where he had been called to assist in investigations into alleged wrongdoings in the company. He also submitted a stack of documents.
