Maersk Drilling takes delivery of jack-up rig from SembMarine

SINGAPORE-listed yard group Sembcorp Marine has delivered to a business unit of Maersk Drilling a high specification jack-up rig that was originally built for Hercules Offshore.
SembMarine said on Monday that Maersk Highlander UK Ltd took delivery of the rig, which was constructed based on the Friede & Goldman JU 2000E design, on schedule. The rig will be deployed in Maersk Oil-operated Culzean field development off the UK.
