TIGER Airways is considering all its options regarding the four aircraft set to return to the group, with loss-making associate Tigerair Mandala being grounded permanently from next month.
Tiger's chief corporate services officer Xavier Lim, not ruling out sub-leasing the aircraft, said: "We will be discussing with Tigerair Mandala how we can make use of the aircraft, but that's still being assessed."
Noting that the region's budget carriers have been struggling with a capacity overhang, he added: "The announced results by the various airlines show that there's clearly overcapacity in the market and everyone is trying to make some adjustments. So we are looking at all the options."
