MAPLETREE Logistics Trust on Monday reported a 2.1 per cent drop in distribution per unit (DPU) to 1.85 Singapore cents for its fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015. It had paid 1.89 Singapore cents a year ago.
The lower DPU was partly due to higher borrowing costs on the back of incremental borrowings to fund acquisitions and capital expenditure, the trust said. Borrowing costs went up 22.6 per cent to S$9.1 million for the quarter.
