MAPLETREE Logistics Trust (MLT), which is acquiring Coles Chilled Distribution Centre in Sydney for A$253 million (S$260 million), sees the purchase of the premium cold store warehouse as a springboard for further expansion into Australia.
MLT Management's chief executive officer Ng Kiat said that Australia could potentially become a new core market for the logistics real estate investment trust (Reit).
