AS GLOBAL authorities deliberate between reopening economies and protecting the population through confinement measures, recovery will be slower than expected. But there are still several bright spots amid the long drawn global pandemic, according to market strategists.
"Countries in Asia tend to be a little stricter in terms of confinement rules and err on the side of caution. We can see that containment measures are going to last quite some time and will only be eased gradually after that," according to Esty Dwek, head of global market strategy, dynamic solutions, at Natixis Investment Managers at a media teleconference on Wednesday.
