MARY Chia Holdings has been ordered to pay north of S$550,00 to a joint venture partner in Japan following arbitration proceedings, the operator of beauty and slimming centres announced on Thursday after the market closed.
Both parties will also be required to liquidate the joint venture.
The company also said that it has been in discussions on potential corporate action, including issuing new shares, but no definite agreements have been executed and there is no assurance that any transactions will materialise.
