Mary Chia unit sets up direct selling branch in Taiwan
MARY Chia Holdings said on Wednesday that its wholly owned unit Organica International Holdings has established a Taiwan branch for the direct selling of skincare and health supplements.
The branch was set up with initial operating capital of NT$1 million (S$45,000), and the plan is to increase this to NT$15 million.
The establishment of the Organica Taiwan Branch is in line with the group's plan to gain an entry in the direct selling market there, the group said.
The establishment of the branch is funded through internal resources, and is not expected to have any material financial impact on the group for the current financial year ending March 31, 2019.
