MAS plans to strengthen OTC derivatives market

THE Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has proposed measures to strengthen its oversight over capital markets intermediaries dealing in over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, and refinements to rules governing financial advisory services.
In a consultation paper released on Wednesday, the financial watchdog invites interested parties to submit their comments.
