AMID a "cocktail of risks" that Singapore businesses have to deal with in 2016, mergers and acquisitions (M&As) activity should see a pick-up this year, with PACC Offshore and Sembcorp Marine (SembMarine) as prime candidates, said a Maybank-Kim Eng Research report on Friday.
"Singapore could face a cocktail of risks, from China's slowdown and oil-price weakness to further Fed-rate hikes which could dampen global demand."
