MDR unveils another venture in Myanmar (Amended)
Singapore
IN A move that could significantly raise its business profile in Myanmar, Singapore-listed MDR Limited is setting up a large-format digital inkjet printing business in that country via its wholly owned subsidiary Pixio, a Malaysian outdoor advertising firm.
The new entity Pixio Myanmar Co, to be based in Yangon, will provide graphic design solutions and large-format digital inkjet production for out-of-home and retail advertisements and promotional signages in Myanmar. MDR, which specialises in the retail of telecommunications devices, had entered Myanmar in 2013 through a joint venture to provide after-market service for Nokia products.
