Meghmani Organics appoints Ankit Patel as CEO
CHEMICAL manufacturing company Meghmani Organics, headquartered in India, has appointed Ankit Patel as its chief executive officer (CEO).
Announcing this on the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday, the company's secretary, Kamlesh Dinkerray Mehta, said the 31-year-old was chosen for his educational training and experience.
Mr Patel has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemistry from Sardar Patel University in India, a Master of Science degree in engineering from Griffith University in Australia and a Global Master of Business Administration from the SP Jain Center of Management.
Before his appointment, Mr Patel was responsible for putting into effect the policies to expand the agro business of Meghmani Organics.
Mr Mehta said that although Mr Patel is the son of the company's managing director, NM Patel, there is no conflict of interest.
Mr Patel takes over from Ashish Soparkar.
