Mergermarket rejects takeover interest: sources
New York
MERGERMARKET Group, the subscription financial news and data company owned by private equity firm BC Partners, rebuffed takeover interest it received over the past few months because of differences over valuation, people with knowledge of the matter said.
Carlyle Group LP and Hellman & Friedman were among a number of private equity firms to have expressed interest in bidding for the company since January, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they weren't authorised to speak publicly.
