Midas JV bags railway deals worth 3.5b yuan

MIDAS Holdings yesterday announced that its joint venture company Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport (NPRT) has won three me-tro train contracts worth a combined 3.5 billion yuan (S$711.9 million).
The first contract, worth about 1.5 billion yuan, was awarded by Suzhou Rail Transit for its Line 4 and branch procurement contract. Its delivery is slated for between 2015 and 2017.
The second contract, worth about 900 million yuan, was awarded by Hefei Urban Rail Transit for the first and second phases of its Line 1 project, with delivery from 2015 to 2016.
