THURSDAY'S trade talks between the US and China will continue to be the focus of investors for at least until the end of the week.
But in a departure from previous lead ups, it was the mixed news flow ahead of the talks that grabbed the most attention (and not US President Donald Trump), which made for a topsy turvy session in the region.
During Wednesday's US session, there were reports that China was offering to buy another 10 million tonnes of soya beans from the US, a boon for those bullish on successful talks.
