Miyoshi Q1 net profit leaps 129.5 per cent to S$746,000
AN INCREASE in orders from its automotive customers lifted results for Miyoshi Limited in its first quarter.
For the three months ended Nov 30, revenue rose 4.4 per cent to S$13.8 million from the year-ago period.
Net profit leapt 129.5 per cent to S$746,000 from the previous year's profit of S$325,000, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Thursday evening.
Earnings per share jumped to 0.15 Singapore cent from 0.07 Singapore cent in the previous year.
Net asset value per share dipped to 11.24 Singapore cents as at Nov 30, from 11.55 Singapore cents three months ago.
Miyoshi shares closed flat at S$0.076 on Thursday.
