Moneylending business helps lift ValueMax net up 55% to S$15.6m

PAWNBROKER ValueMax Group has fared quite well in giving loans and will continue to develop that segment, it said as its moneylending segment and a lower cost of sales lifted its results in its full financial year.
Net profit for the period shot up 54.9 per cent to S$15.6 million from the previous year, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing Tuesday evening.
