MAINBOARD-LISTED Nanofilm Technologies' MZH 2 plants on the western side of the Huangpu river face the prospect of a lockdown from Friday (Apr 1).

This comes as Shanghai was previously roughly split in 2 along the river for separate 5-day lockdowns to allow for "staggered" testing to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The Pudong financial district and its nearby areas began their lockdown on Monday, and the area west of the Huangpu will do so from Friday.
