NeraTel Q4 profit slips 5% to S$4.4 million
NERA Telecommunications' net profit slipped by 5 per cent in the fourth quarter to S$4.4 million, or 1.21 Singapore cents per share, on higher distribution and selling expenses.
Profit in the full year ended December 2015 fell 17.4 per cent to S$13.4 million, or 3.7 Singapore cents per share.
Nera Telecommunications, a provider of telecommunications and information network solutions, is trimming its final dividend to one Singapore cent per share from the year-ago payout of 2 Singapore cents per share.
Revenue rose 6.4 per cent to S$51.4 million during the quarter. But distribution and selling expenses, which included higher payroll-related and operation costs and higher provisions for doubtful debt, increased by 19.3 per cent to S$8.4 million, wiping out topline growth.
