THE new and updated fee benchmarks for private healthcare services and procedures are unlikely to affect the business models of listed healthcare providers, said analysts.

These recommendations, released by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Wednesday (Jun 14), will instead help private healthcare providers work with insurers on pricing of premiums, the analysts noted.

They added that the raising of suggested attendance fees for surgeons and anaesthetists, as well as doctors’ inpatient fees, will likely push up insurance premiums.
