New president to take charge at ST Kinetics from April 1
SINGAPORE Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engg) has announced that, in line with its announcement on Nov 14, 2016, president-designate of ST Kinetics, Lee Shiang Long, will assume his role as the ST Kinetics' president from April 1, this year.
Ravinder Singh will relinquish his position in ST Kinetics and remain as president of ST Electronics, an appointment he holds since Jan 1, 2017.
Mr Lee, who has been transiting into his new role since late 2016, joined ST Kinetics in March 2016 from the Institute of Infocomm Research (I2R) at A*STAR. At I2R, he was responsible for research and innovation to meet Singapore's Smart Nation ambitions. He holds a Master in Business Administration from Cambridge University and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, as well as a Master Degree in Science (IT) from the National University of Singapore.
