New SIAS awards for sustainability, shareholder communications

THIS year's Investors' Choice Awards, organised by the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) or SIAS, will have two new award categories - the Sustainability Award and the Shareholder Communications Excellence Award.

It will also incorporate transparency as one of the criteria in its Singapore Corporate Governance Award (SCGA), and do away with the Most Transparent Company Award category, said president and CEO of SIAS, David Gerald, in a briefing on Monday.
