New Silkroutes up 9% on private equity JV

SHARES in New Silkroutes Group, an oil and gas trader, rose 9 per cent on Friday after the firm announced a private equity joint venture with three other parties.
The counter closed at S$0.835, up seven Singapore cents or 9.2 per cent. Almost six million shares worth S$5 million were traded.
The joint venture, New Silkroutes Asset Management, is applying for a capital markets services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.…
