No proposals or decisions on strategic option so far: Frasers Hospitality Trust
THE managers of Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) said on Friday (Apr 8) that they have not received any written proposals for them to take on a new business strategy, nor have they made any decision on the matter as yet.
The hotel and serviced residence trust, which comprises of both Frasers Hositality real estate investment trust and Frasers Hospitality business trust stapled as one entity, said that its managers do review strategic options now and then to unlock value for FHT's stapled securityholders.
This includes but is not limited to genuine proposals from all parties.
However, the exploration of strategic options may not result in a transaction as they may choose to continue on with the existing business strategy, they said in a bourse filing in response to media queries on whether ACV is involved in a strategic option.
The managers added that they will make appropriate announcements on the Singapore Exchange if there is any material development which they are obliged to disclose. They also advised its stapled shareholders to refrain from taking any action on their securities that may not be in their best interests.
