Noble completes disposal of US energy unit

BELEAGUERED commodity trader Noble Group said late on Thursday that it had completed the disposal of Noble Americas Energy Solutions (NAES) to Calpine Energy Services Holdco II, following its announcement of the potential sale in October.
At the closing, the amount paid by the buyers to the sellers was about US$1.16 billion, comprising US$800 million plus repayment of net working capital of US$356.4 million.
