Noble's rights issue plan gets nod from shareholders

NOBLE Group's shareholders on Friday approved the commodity trader's plan for a rights issue, with 98.87 per cent voting in favour of the resolution at a special general meeting.
Noble Group had unveiled the US$500 million one-for-one rights issue on June 3, with each new share to be issued at 11 Singapore cents - a 63 per cent discount to the last closing price of 30 Singapore cents.
