NOMURA Institute of Capital Markets Research (NICMR) will set up a unit in Singapore to boost its financial and capital markets research capabilities in Asia with a special focus on Asean countries.
"A team of analysts from NICMR Tokyo will relocate to Nomura Singapore Ltd and a new department will be established there to support the business activities of Nomura in Asia, through the assimilation and timely release of information about financial and capital market systems in Asean and other Asian countries," the company said on Wednesday.
